More about Wydra Reservoir

The reservoir plays a crucial role in the region's power generation infrastructure by cooling the Bełchatów Power Station, one of Europe's largest coal-fired power plants. It is accessible from nearby roads and offers opportunities for fishing and bird watching. However, due to its industrial purpose, swimming is not permitted. Year-round, the reservoir supports various local ecosystems.
