The Vendôme Column is located in Paris, France, in the Place Vendôme, and is a prominent monument standing at 44 meters tall. Built between 1806 and 1810, it commemorates Napoleon I's victory at the Battle of Austerlitz, featuring a spiral frieze cast from enemy cannons.

The column is topped with a statue of Napoleon in Roman attire. It was inspired by Trajan's Column in Rome and was designed by architect Jean-Baptiste Lepère. The monument originally included a statue of Napoléon dressed as a Roman emperor. Visitors can view the column from the surrounding plaza, although the interior is not open to the public.
