Vatnshellir Cave is located in Iceland's Snæfellsnes Peninsula, part of the Snæfellsjökull National Park. The cave is approximately 8,000 years old and extends 200 meters underground. It features a spiral staircase leading visitors down 35 meters into the lava tube.
