Reynisdrangar Cliffs
Reynisdrangar Cliffs are located near Vik in southern Iceland. These basalt sea stacks are situated on the Reynisfjara black sand beach. The tallest stack reaches approximately 66 meters. Formed by volcanic activity, they are part of the Katla Geopark.

According to local legend, the sea stacks were once trolls who turned to stone in daylight. Geologically, the cliffs are a result of centuries of erosion from the Atlantic Ocean. Reynisdrangar is accessible via the Ring Road, Route 1. Visitors should note that due to strong currents and unpredictable waves, caution is advised on Reynisfjara beach.
