More about Pantai Merah

The pink coloration results from microscopic organisms known as Foraminifera, which produce a red pigment on the coral reefs. Komodo National Park, established in 1980, protects the Komodo dragon and includes 29 islands. The park is accessible via a 1.5-hour boat ride from Labuan Bajo, Flores. Visitors can explore the area's biodiversity both on land and underwater, but should adhere to park regulations to protect the ecosystem.
