Morskie Oko is a glacial lake located in the Tatra Mountains of southern Poland. Situated at an elevation of 1,395 meters, the lake covers an area of 34.93 hectares and reaches a maximum depth of 50.8 meters. It is one of the largest and most visited lakes in the region.

Historically, Morskie Oko has been a popular destination since the 19th century, attracting visitors for its alpine scenery. The lake is easily accessible via a 9-kilometer hike from Palenica Białczańska, which is the nearest car park. The trail is well-marked and suitable for most hikers. The area is part of the Tatra National Park, and visitors are encouraged to respect local conservation efforts.
