Lake Alta
Lake Alta is a glacial lake located in the Remarkables mountain range in New Zealand's Otago region. Situated at an elevation of 1,800 meters, the lake occupies a cirque basin formed by glacial erosion. It is accessible via the Remarkables ski field, approximately 1 km from the base facilities.
