More about Jiaozhouwan Bridge
The Jiaozhouwan Bridge accommodates six lanes and is part of the longer Jiaozhou Bay Connection Project, which includes several other bridges and tunnels. Construction began in 2007 and took four years, involving over 450,000 tonnes of steel and 2.3 million cubic meters of concrete. The bridge significantly reduces travel time across the bay, enhancing regional connectivity. Public access is available, and tolls are applied for vehicle transit.
