
Hverfjall
Hverfjall is a tephra cone or tuff ring volcano located in northern Iceland, near Lake Mývatn. Approximately 396 meters in height, it features a crater roughly 1 kilometer in diameter. The volcano is estimated to have formed about 2,500 years ago during a brief eruptive period.
