Fort Boyard is a fortification located between the Île-d'Aix and Île d'Oléron in the Pertuis d'Antioche straits, France. Constructed between 1801 and 1857, the oval-shaped structure measures 68 meters long and 31 meters wide, with walls standing 20 meters high.
