Designed by architect Frigyes Schulek, Fisherman’s Bastion was built between 1895 and 1902. The structure was named after the fishermen who defended this stretch of the city walls during the Middle Ages. It is situated in the Buda Castle district, accessible by foot or via the Buda Castle Funicular. The site includes a terrace open to the public year-round.
