Initially constructed by the Herburt family, Dobromyl Castle was designed for both defense and residence. Its strategic location provided excellent visibility over the San River Valley. The castle grounds cover several hectares, with remnants of defensive walls and towers still visible. While partially in ruins, it is accessible to visitors, with hiking paths leading to the site. The nearest major city is Lviv, approximately 120 kilometers to the northeast.
