More about Argassi Bridge

Originally built to connect the village of Argassi with other parts of Zakynthos, the bridge is now partially submerged due to land subsidence and rising sea levels. Constructed from local stone, it features a series of arches. Visitors can easily access the site on foot and explore its structure, which offers insight into 19th-century engineering techniques.
